providing passports & travel grants

As an integral part of our mission, we provide passport and travel grants to both individual students and student organizations, nationwide.

Applications open June 2023 and will be reviewed for consideration. The size and number of grants and scholarships may vary. Announcements of scholarships and grants are announced at the end of August 2023.

To be eligible, students or student Organizations must: already have plans for student travel for educational purposes, have a significant financial burden that would prevent intended travel, and complete the application.

This application is open to any student from middle school age through college that is a u.s. citizen.

Too Fly is taking middle school and high school students in Dallas, TX to new heights through our Too Fly Flight Academy. Partnering with schools serving underserved students. From travel etiquette to cultural immersion experiences to scholarship funding, we are showing young people that there is a bigger world to explore.

TOO FLY FOUNDATION IS ADDRESSING THE NEED TO BRIDGE THE GAPS BETWEEN TRAVEL, EDUCATION, AND TECHNOLOGY FOR STUDENTS OF COLOR. THROUGH OUR VIRTUAL REALITY TRAVEL EXPERIENCE AND PROGRAM, WE ARE LOOKING TO EXPOSE STUDENTS TO NEW TECHNOLOGIES, MOTIVATE STUDENTS TO LEARN, AND ENCOURAGE STUDENTS TO TRAVEL.

AS TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS ARE BEING LIFTED THE COMMUNITIES WE ARE SERVING MAY BE LESS LIKELY TO TRAVEL NOW MORE THAN EVER WITH FINANCIAL HARDSHIPS. IDEALLY, WE’D BE BRINGING THESE OPPORTUNITIES TO THEIR HOMES AND GIVING THEM UNIQUE TRAVEL OPPORTUNITIES THROUGH EDUCATION AND TECHNOLOGY.

Nationwide, the Too Fly Foundation is cultivating a passion of travel in creativelyLIT ways--from happy hours to brunches to day parties. Every dollar raised at a Too Fly Fundraiser is given to empower the next generation of global leaders.
