[PRESS RELEASE] HEB AND TYLER PERRY GIVE DALLAS- BASED NONPROFIT $100,000 ON KELLY CLARKSON SHOW TO HELP PROVIDE PASSPORT SCHOLARSHIPS TO UNDERSERVED YOUTH

DALLAS, TX… Bola Ibidapo and Brandon Miller, cofounders of the Too Fly Foundation, received a huge surprise as they made an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, alongside celebrity guests Tyler Perry and Parker Young. During the segment, Too Fly was gifted with a $50,000 donation from Texas-based Grocer, H-E-B. Tyler Perry, moved by the organization’s work, matched the donation with an additional $50,000.

Too Fly is an innovative nonprofit with the mission of providing travel grants, passport scholarships, and educational experiences to students in under-resourced communities who wish to study abroad. Founded in August 2016, the organization has since assisted over 170  students across the nation study abroad.

On the show, founders Bola Ibidapo and Brandon Miller shared about the organization's mission, impact and were surprised by a video showing highlights of students the organization has impacted over the years.

“We want brown and black students to see the world,” said Brandon Miller, Co-founder and Director of Brand & Strategy during the Kelly Clarkson Show. “However, I want the world to see these students.”

Too Fly believes that travel is a privilege that every young person should have, no matter their race or socioeconomic background. They also believe that travel makes young people better students and leaders. With the help of these donations, the organization looks forward to assisting more students in traveling the world.
