[PRESS RELEASE] TOO FLY FOUNDATION GRANTS $50,000 IN PASSPORT & TRAVEL SCHOLARSHIPS TO UNDERREPRESENTED STUDENTS, NATIONWIDE

DALLAS, TX… The Too Fly Foundation is a creative nonprofit with the mission of providing travel grants and passport scholarships to underrepresented and underserved students who wish to study abroad. Since 2016, the foundation has now impacted over 250 students nationwide.

At the close of 2022, Too Fly announces that it has issued  $50,000 worth of travel grants and passport scholarships to over 75 students residing in Texas, New York, Georgia, Missouri, Ohio, and Oklahoma.  Additionally, Too Fly will be equipping over 120 students with brand-new luggage, and travel resources as they embark on their study-abroad adventures.

Too Fly Foundation has teamed with powerful brands and received grants from organizations to increase their impact in 2022, including names such as Travelpro, Tyler Perry Studios, H-E-B, and American Airlines.

Too Fly believes that travel is a privilege that every young person should have, no matter their race or socioeconomic background. They also believe that travel makes young people better students and leaders. The organization looks forward to assisting more students as travel restrictions begin to be lifted.

“A majority of our student scholars are the first in their family to own a passport or travel outside of their city” , says Too Fly’s Executive Director, Bola Ibidapo. “Too Fly is making an impact that is generational. We firmly believe we are helping to inspire the next CEO, president, inventor, philanthopis, renowned chef or artist just by putting a passport and plane ticket in a young person’s hand.”
