[PRESS RELEASE] AMERICAN AIRLINES PARTNERS WITH TOO FLY FOUNDATION, HELPING UNDERREPRESENTED STUDENTS STUDYING ABROAD

DALLAS, TX,... American Airlines is now the Official Airlines of the Too Fly Fundraiser, in partnership with the Too Fly Foundation. Too Fly is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides travel grants and passport scholarships to help underrepresented youth study abroad. Since 2016, Too Fly has helped over 175 students across the nation see the world.

“Our company strives to bridge the gaps of inequity within the travel industry,” says Kevin William, Global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Director for American Airlines. “This is why American Airlines is excited to partner with the Too Fly Foundation. This organization has introduced the world of travel to youth who do not have the exposure or financial privilege to do so on their own.”

American Airlines is teaming up with the nonprofit’s fundraising series, which are hosted in numerous cities in the United States, including Dallas, New York, Chicago, and more. Too Fly has hosted its fundraising series in over 12 cities to date. All funds raised have continued to equip students with passport and travel monetary grants, new luggage, travel accessories, educational resources to prepare students for their trips, and more.

“The support of the Too Fly Foundation started with our grassroots fundraising events across the COUNTRY,” says Brandon Miller, Too Fly Cofounder and Director of Brand & Strategy. “At our events, we have created a multi-generational love for travel, while raising funds to help the next generation of global leaders. We look forward to expanding our reach and impact with the support and partnership of American Airlines.”
